Skoimperiet Jimmy Choo kan vara till salu. Han upptäcktes av Tamara Mellon, som äger 17-18% av företaget, och blev känd nästan över en natt. Jimmy Choo lämnade dock företaget 2001 och nu sägs det att Tamara Mellon är nära att sluta ett avtal om försäljning. Mellon har än så länge tackat nej till att kommentera ryktet och vet den eventuella köparen är är fortfarande ett mysterium… / The Jimmy Choo shoe empire may be up for sale. Jimmy Choo himself left the company in 2001 and it´s said that Tamara Mellon is reching the final stages of negotiations. Mellon has so far declined to comment on the rumours, and the possible byers remains a mystery…

The multi-million dollar shoe empire that is Jimmy Choo may be about to change hands, in a potential £500m sale. Tamara Mellon, who has a 17-18 per cent stake in the company, is said to be reaching the final stages of negotiations, and set to pocket an estimated £100m.

The Jimmy Choo story has become the ultimate daydream of many of those just starting out in the industry: the talented small-scale producer being ‘discovered’ and becoming a household name almost overnight. Now it seems that Mellon will be reaping the rewards of her discovery of Choo, who himself left the company in 2001.

Mellon has so far declined to comment on the rumours, and the possible buyer remains a mystery for now.

Have2have har fått in en sandal som är väldigt lik den Jimmy Choo gjorde för H&M. Detaljerna är inte exakt lika, men i stort sett är den likadan. Modellen är fin, men i jämförelse med originalet så ser den inte bra ut. Originalet vinner, som så många andra gånger. Här pratar Tamara Mellon, grundaren av Jimmy Choo, om kollektionen de gjort tillsammans med H&M. Hon visar matchningstips, ”allt passar med allt”, och visar sina favoriter. Ganska kul att se kollektionen ”live”. Man ser allt på ett annat sätt när man ser hur plaggen rör sig. Jag blev grymt sugen på kombon hon hade på sig, den blå klänningen med nitbältet till, ursnyggt! / Tamara Mellon, the founder of Jimmy Choo, talks about the collection they will release with H&M. She shows how to wear it, ”all of it goes together”, and she shows her favourites. I really liked to see the collection ”live”. You see everything diffrently when you see how the clothes move. I also loved the combo she was wearing, the blue dress with the studded belt, gorgeous!

Nu har H&M släppt produktbilder på hela kollektionen från Jimmy Choo for H&M. Några hade jag inte sett tidigare och det var kul att spana in herrkollektionen också. Jag försöker just nu planera och sålla bland det jag vill ha, priserna är rätt höga och jag har inte råd med allt. Jag kommer att sikta in mig på skor och accessoarer då kläderna inte tilltalar mig på samma sätt. De är otroligt fina, men inget för mig tror jag. Det på bilden är mina favoriter, men innan kollektionen släpps så har jag säkert hunnit ångra mig flera gånger! Kollektionen släpps online  och i butik kl 10.00 den 14 November. / H&M has released the whole collection on their website now. Some of the pictures were new to me and it was fun to check out the mens collection as well. Right now I´m trying to decide what I will get when the collection is available, I can´t afford everything. I´m looking at accessories and shoes, and these are my favourites so far. But I might change my mind in a week or so! The collection will be released on November 14th.

Jimmy Choo for H&M kommer ju som sagt att innehålla accessoarer också och de här fastnade jag för. Den svarta väskan såg fin ut i modellen, men den kanske är lite för liten. Det återstår att se. Den grå ser bättre ut i storlek och kommer egentligen från herrkollektionen, men det spelar ju ingen roll. Jag kommer i alla fall fundera på att köpa den. Bältet kan man vira flera varv och det skulle nog vara snyggt över en fodralklänning eller en lite längre lös top. Fastnar du för någon av accessoarerna? Fler bilder finns här. / I really like these Jimmy Choo for H&M accessories. The black bag looks nice, but it may be just a bit too small. We´ll just have to wait and see. The grey bag looks better in size and is actually from the mens line. I´m considering getting it.
